The Elk Grove Village Italian Sister Cities, Inc., incorporated in October of 2000 as a non-profit organization, which joined the Village of Elk grove Village, Illinois and the City of Termini Imerese, Sicily as one sister city.

The Elk Grove Village Italian Sister Cities program strives to create and strengthen cultural exchanges by blending both the Italian and American Heritages, stimulate International Trade and Economic Development and expand the exchange of information in technology, medicine, environment, social services and education between the two cities.
